Thanks to the emergence of Open AI, even though I am not a native English speaker, I am now able to write in English. However, Open AI is still a work in progress and far from perfect, so I believe there may still be mistakes in my written English and expressions. In the future, I think language learning may no longer be necessary, but I will continue my language learning journey along with my exploration of Open AI. It would be great if, regardless of technology or language, we could create a society where people who were previously disconnected can now connect with each other. It would be great if more people could experience this. In the future, I will also post my own experiences as an immigrant on this blog.

Making Eggplant Miso Dengaku with an Air Fryer

Learn English While Cooking!

First, we will make the miso sauce.

Miso with broth, 50 grams

Sugar, 1 tablespoon

Ricewine, 1 tablespoon

Mirin, 1 tablespoon

Water, 1 tablespoon

Put all these ingredients into a small pot, mix well, then simmer over low heat until it becomes thick.

Next, cut one bei-nasu eggplant in half lengthwise, leaving the stem attached.

Make cuts between the skin and the flesh, and make diagonal cuts about 1.5 cm wide in a grid pattern on the flesh part.

Also, to ensure stability when serving, thinly slice off the part that will be the base.

Put the cut eggplant in the air fryer for 20 minutes, take out the eggplant and apply the prepared miso sauce, then bake in the oven until the miso sauce is lightly browned.

Once the surface is browned, plate it further to complete.

You might want to try adding grated ginger to taste. Please note that the cooking time may vary slightly depending on the model of the air fryer and the size of the eggplant.

If you are cooking this for the first time, please monitor the progress as you cook.
